Things to ask when booking a makeup artist

1. Do they have any references?
2. What is their training?
3. What is their background and experience?
4. Do they have an area of expertise?
5. Do they have a portfolio?
6. Do they have any certification?
7. What lines do they work with?
8. Do they have an understanding of skin care?
9. Do they have any experience with photography makeup?
10. How long have they been practicing?
11. What do they do to keep their trends current and fresh?

**(This is just a baseline of questions I thought would be found helpful. When you are booking a makeup artist it is for a special occasion and you want to make sure they will take special care of you and are completely qualified)**

When work and play mix

So, my best friend from college was married over the weekend, and I was lucky enough to do the makeup! It was a lot of work, not only being in the wedding, but doing the makeup, but it was well worth it. I love Megan to death and was so lucky to be a part of it all.

October, a month for weddings

This month I've done too weddings. The first one was for Jessica and she was a beautiful bride. She was really open to makeup (along with her wonderful bridesmaids) and we even added some false eye lashes on the outter corners of her eyes for an extra pop!
