Boudior Marathon
This past Saturday www.hollymccaig.com and I did a marathon boudoir photo shoot and it was so much fun!!!! We had run a contest earlier in the month, and had so many wondeful applicant's, that we couldn't decide on just one, so we had our first and second place winners come in. The ladies were SO much fun to work with, and we all had a lot of fun getting a little sexy and silly all at the same time. Holly and I plan to do another marathon shoot in the fall for Christmas, so let us know if you are interested!
Working with Holly was such a blast, and I'm sure we will colleberate again soon on more projects, her awsome photo's, and my hair and makeup!!!! Stay tuned for more details!!!

Website up and running!!!
After many months, we FINALLY have the website up and running! It was, intersting, to say the least working w/ the hubby on this, but in the end, we are both THRILLED with the way it has turned out! Please feel free to check it out, www.makeupbyelisabeth.com.
Lot's of news!!!
Well, a TON has been going on in the past two months!!! First and MOST important, is that I became a part of an amazing foundation called www.thegiftedwedding.com. Basically, we donate a wedding to a family with a unique health and/or financial situation. We had our first wedding last weekend and it was wonderful! Anna Jimenze, a woman diagnosed w/ ALS a few years ago had always wished she had done the big wedding, but 15 years ago her and her hubby didn't have the money, so they went to the courthouse. I loved meeting this awesome family and helping them to make some memories.

Things to ask when booking a makeup artist

1. Do they have any references?
2. What is their training?
3. What is their background and experience?
4. Do they have an area of expertise?
5. Do they have a portfolio?
6. Do they have any certification?
7. What lines do they work with?
8. Do they have an understanding of skin care?
9. Do they have any experience with photography makeup?
10. How long have they been practicing?
11. What do they do to keep their trends current and fresh?
**(This is just a baseline of questions I thought would be found helpful. When you are booking a makeup artist it is for a special occasion and you want to make sure they will take special care of you and are completely qualified)**

Trash the Dress

This past Sunday I did the hair and makeup for a trash the dress photoshoot. For those of you who are not aware of what this is, it is where a women literally trashes her wedding dress! I got to work with the wonderful http://www.ikandiphotography.com/. It was an amazing experince that I hope to do again very soon.
The "model" did fantastic and was such a trooper and we rubbed mud on her, threw leaves on her, and eventually put her in a pond.
It was so awsome to do some fun and crazy makeup!
